Let us know how it went
Please do let us know what activities you ran for Road Safety Week and how they went. We really appreciate all your feedback, which helps us to make the next Road Safety Week an even bigger success. We’d love it if you could help us by completing one of the following:
- Survey for emergency services and road safety professionals

‘Make the Brake Pledge’
Road Safety Week 2016 was all about encouraging people to Make the Brake Pledge.
Brake is working towards a world where road transport is safe, sustainable, healthy and fair, and where there are zero road deaths. However, deaths and injuries are happening right now: every day five people die on UK roads and 61 are seriously injured.
That is why we asked everyone to do their bit in Road Safety Week 2016 to spread awareness of the vital importance of the Brake Pledge rules: Slow, Sober, Secure, Silent, Sharp and Sustainable.
This year’s theme lies at the heart of our charity and of road safety, helping people understand that every action that we take, as a driver or as a passenger, can change the outcome of a journey and the future of a family.
